Description:  A fine old Kavedi panel depicting Ganesha seated on his mouse vahana (vehicle) at the centre of a triple domed pavilion flanked by two attendant figures. A kaveti is a wooden staff, often with intricately adorned ends, surmounted by an arch made of bamboo and covered with cloth, which is carried on the shoulders by the devotees of Murugan, son of Shiva.
